Investing with Vanterra: Two Tiered Strategy

Vanterra Capital utilizes two strategies for investing in the target markets which will maximize value-creation. The equity platforms which are utilized consist of the following two parts:

Investments in Funds - We either seed or invest in what we conclude are the “best of class” lower-middle-market private equity funds. These funds are deemed to have a particular ability for value-creation and also expertise in their sector. Vanterra expects these funds to show a clear competitive advantage over the competition. We also use these funds as a resource to gain market intelligence.

Direct Investments - We also make direct investments in lower-middle-market companies. Vanterra prefers companies with transaction values between $20 and $300 million. The direct investments can come in two flavors; co-investments parallel with Fund Investments and other investments which begin from the network of Vanterra and its affiliates.
